MWTECHNOLOGIES, LDA., develops innovative specialty optical fiber sources based on fiber-optic technologies. As a spin-off of Multiwave Photonics, MWTechnologies takes advantage of the already proven quality and reliability of Multiwave`s products. In parallel, MWTechnologies is engaged with several new projects and in constant product development in order to fulfill customer requirements. Operating in a wide range of applications, standard products are designed for high performance operation at the wavelength windows of 1µm and 1.5µm. This C-band Broadband ASE Source is based on amplified spontaneous emission from a semiconductor diode pumped Erbium doped fiber, and delivers a high spectral density output in the wavelength range 1525nm – 1570nm.
