Nabrawind Self Erecting Tower

Nabrawind Self Erecting Tower (Nabralift) is a new wind turbine tower technology that breaks all the barriers that are restraining the growth of the wind turbines hub height. Nabralift consists on a three-columns structure installed under the uppermost part of a WTG tubular tower and integrates a Self-Erection System (SES) that allows the installation of a full WTG (tower, nacelle, rotor) without using large-size cranes regardless of the final hub-height.

Wind Tower Elevation

Nabrabase is a very cost competitive alternative in wind farms where the concrete supply may represent a challenge. It is a new wind tower elevation foundation that consists of a tripod installed under the tubular tower, resulting in a hybrid support structure. The tubular tower segment is connected to the frame tower segment through metallic transition segment. The tower transition is manufactured in several elements that are transported separately and assembled on site by means of preloaded tension connections. Nabrabase Tripod elements are manufactured in steel and cast iron.

Nabrawind - Modular Blade System

Nabrawind Modular Blade System (Nabrajoint) is a technology applicable to any wind turbine blade (existing or new) that allows manufacturing blades in two or more parts that are transported separately and assembled on site. Nabrajoint technology is based on a bolted connection between blade modules with conventional, controlled and robust assembly methods.

Blade’S Maintenance and Installation System

BladeRunner is a blade’s maintenance and installation system. It is based on the installation of small pieces of equipment on the hub of the wind turbine with which the blade is directly manipulated and ascends and descends in a vertical position. The system is connected directly to the blade root inserts or T-Bolts, which avoids applying force on its aerodynamic surface, thus eliminating the risk of cracks appearing in the handling area.
