National Association of Water Companies (NAWC)
The National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) was founded in 1895 by a handful of small water companies. Today, NAWC has members located throughout the nation, ranging in size from companies that own, operate, or partner with hundreds of utilities in multiple states, to individual utilities that serve a few thousand customers. National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) member companies safeguard public health and promote environmental stewardship as they serve the water and wastewater needs of nearly 73 million Americans every day. Our members own rate- and environmentally-regulated companies that operate drinking water and wastewater systems. These companies were built by men and women who engineered solutions that 73 million Americans trust to safeguard public health, promote environmental stewardship and deliver safe, reliable and affordable water year after year.
