nZero Group was acquired by industrial services provider, Bilfinger UK in 2025, bringing Bilfinger an enhanced expertise in the gas and hydrogen sectors, complementing its own broad energy transition portfolio. The acquisition strengthened Bilfinger’s market position to support customers on decarbonization journey; and created an expanded offering to meet UK government’s net-zero targets. This strategic expansion and diversification was in line with Bilfinger’s Group Strategy to be number one in enhancing efficiency and sustainability. Bilfinger nZero has a significant installed base across the UK of biomethane to grid packages and share complementary firsts in hydrogen blending for gas networks and industrial fuel switching. This positions Bilfinger nZero as the UK’s leading measurement and control partner across the natural gas, petrochemical and biomethane markets, with the experience and ambition to serve the UK’s decarbonization programme… and beyond.
