By providing the same thermal insulation as conventional glass, along with the capacity to generate free clean electricity from the sun, it enables buildings to drastically improve their energy efficiency, decrease operation and maintenance costs, and reduce their carbon footprint. Onyx Solar is offering tailored solutions on existing buildings by installing linings of PV glass panes which cover fully or partially their rooftops and facades.

We are also developers of the first photovoltaic pavement in the world made with PV glass which is being placed on terrace floors, sidewalks and other outdoor surfaces.

The company, which has offices in Spain, United States and China, was founded in 2009 and has completed more than 350 projects in 50 countries since then. The current yearly production capacity at our factory is at 2 million sqft.
