Ferritic nitrocarburizing is a Case Hardening technique that uses heat, nitrogen and carbon to toughen up the exterior of a steel part, improving its durability, appearance and corrosion resistance.

Our continuous-belt hydrogen furnaces are designed for low dew points (down to -60°F) to ensure clean, bright brazed components every time. We work with high-temperature and corrosion-resistant alloys including austenitic and martensitic stainless steel and nickel alloys.

Black oxide coating (also known as blackening, oxidizing, oxiding, black passivating, and gun bluing) gives visual appeal, reduces reflectivity, and slightly enhances corrosion resistance with minimal effect on your parts’ dimensions.
