Power Automation

Power Automation is a joint venture formed in 1996 between SP Group and Siemens, providing innovative and cutting-edge technologies that help to deliver Power System Control, Substation Automation, Smart Grid and Metering, and Protection Systems. Leading up to 1996, there was a marked increase in competition and decrease in operating margins of electric utilities, due to the deregulation and unbundling of energy production and transport processes in Singapore. Taking on the role as a systems integrator well-versed in utility automation solutions based on open-systems technologies while adhering strictly to industry standards, we produce quality products and services to our clients and customers. The nature of our company as a partnership is unique in that we are formed between two giants in the industry – which has afforded us with extensive years of experience in the industry, strengthening existing relationships with our clients while forging new and robust ones along the way.
