The Chroma 19501-K Partial Discharge Tester integrates hipot testing and partial discharge (PD) detection in a single device. It offers a maximum output of 10kV AC, a leakage current measurement range from 0.01uA to 300uA, and a minimal PD detection capacity of 1pC. This tester is particularly designed for application with high voltage semiconductors and high insulation materials. It adheres to IEC 60270-1 and IEC 60747-5-5 standards and incorporates built-in test methods as per the latter standard. In addition to meeting opto-coupler production test requirements, it features a user-friendly interface. The tester is optimized for production lines, wherein connection quality is critical for successful hipot testing. For high-insulation components, it leverages a High Voltage Contact Check (HVCC) function that employs the Kelvin test method, enhancing reliability and efficiency through simultaneous contact inspections during hipot testing.
