The Chroma 63700 Series Regenerative DC Electronic Load is engineered for rigorous product reliability testing across various applications, including electric vehicle battery discharge and fuel cell systems. Designed for efficient energy management, the load can simulate diverse load characteristics and recycle energy back to the electrical grid, thus reducing both the test environment temperature and HVAC power consumption. It features a compact 3U form factor, offering high power density with power ratings up to 18kW per unit and a current capacity of up to 120A. Supporting parallel operation, users can combine up to 10 units for a total of 180kW power and 1,200A current capacity. It provides voltage options of 600V, 1,200V, and 1,800V. For precise testing control, the series can store up to 256 programmable sequences and comes equipped with various interfacing options including LAN, USB, GPIB, and CAN.
