In 1985 the mexican federal power generation board approached both local and overseas suppliers of high power voltage reulator equipment with a request to investigate the possibility of replacing existing field controls of power generation alternators. As a result of this exercise SEPAC Corporation obtained order for AVR equipment that has now become a starndard along with d.c. controlled rectifier bridges with up to 7000 AMPS capacity and with sophisticated digital control systems. Al this has been achieved without a vestie of electrical interference between the high and low power sections and without any specification compromises.

Microprocessed Unit (Programmable Logic Controller) DRIVE MASTER PLUS constitutes a digital control system that allows for voltage regulation at the synchronous generator`s terminals keeping in within its normal operation parameters in a safe way using the compensators and limiters included in the automatic channel.
