Generators & UPS
Shenton - Power and Standby Generators
Shenton Group supply prime power and standby generators, offering complete turnkey solutions. At Shenton Group, we manufacture diesel and gas HV & LV generators from 10kVA to 3200kVA to your individual design requirements. As a leading generator manufacturer, not only are we focused on keeping power supplies operational in the event of a mains failure, but also on improving the sustainability of your power supply, such as providing prime power solutions for remote locations. We manufacture a fully bespoke range of reliable standby power generators and offer ongoing technical support and maintenance services to ensure you never fall victim to a power failure.
Shenton - UPS Systems
Uninterruptible power supply or UPS provides instantaneous backup power when there is a loss of power supply from the mains supply or if the voltage level drops. This ensures computers or equipment can be shut down safely, or switched over to power supplied by a generator. The design and size of a UPS determines how long the power supply will last.
Shenton - Fuel Tanks
Under the control of Pollution (Oil Storage) Regulations 2001 there are requirements for operators and owners to provide safer and more environmentally friendly fuel storage. All commercial storage facilities in excess of 200 litres capacity must have a ‘second containment’ capable of holding at least 110% of the maximum tank capacity. Shenton Group offers fully compliant compact bunds for all our generators that are complete with fork truck pockets for easy location. Cleverly designed rain covers complete an attractive and functional package that meets and exceeds the legal requirement.
Generators & UPS - ATS Panel
Shenton - Panel with No Bypass
Fully automatic dual supply ATS panel including all mains and generator monitoring and protection systems. Motorised 4 pole changeover switch conforming to BS EN 60947-6-1, operated by a digital programable ATS controller, which can be used for either dual mains or mains to generator applications, all contained in a wall mounted steel cabinet. This panel is manufactured to comply with BS 8519:2020. Please note: Under certain conditions additional single or dual bypass arrangements may be needed to meet specification, which can be supplied as optional extras.
Shenton - Single Phase Panels

Fully automatic dual supply ATS panel including all mains and generator monitoring and protection systems. Motorised 4 pole changeover switch conforming to BS EN 60947-6-1, operated by a digital programable ATS controller, which can be used for either dual mains or mains to generator applications, all contained in a wall mounted steel cabinet. Including integrated manually operated Dual bypass switch, to facilitate bypass of the primary or secondary supply directly to the load output. This panel is manufactured to comply with BS 8519:2020.
Combined Heat & Power Systems
Shenton - Combined Heat & Power (CHP) System
Combined Heat & Power is a gas fuelled reciprocating piston engine, driven by three CHP fuel types- natural gas, biogas, or LPG. The CHP engine drives an alternator to generate electricity. The heat from the CHP engine is then recovered and made available as hot water or steam. This gives the best efficiency from the use of the fuel consumed, and provides very low cost power and heat energy to the client. On certain combined heat and power models we can even recover waste heat from the alternator, further increasing efficiency.
