Test Grade Wafers are high quality wafers which have less comprehensive specifications than a prime grade wafer. These wafers monitor the performance and conditions of a particular semiconductor processing step. The Test Grade Wafer provides a more economical solution for isolated testing.

Epitaxial Grade Wafers are prime silicon wafers which have a single crystalline layer of silicon deposited on the surface. This layer is typically a different resistivity or dopant than the underlying substrate. This is done to provide multiple layers of resistivity and a pure flat surface for device manufacturing. SVM can provide Epitaxial Grade Wafers from our inventory or can grow custom epi layers to meet your exact specifications.
