SVM - Mono-Crystalline Modules
Solar cells that are created from mono-crystalline or (single crystal) technology are cut from a silicon ingot that is grown from a single crystal, in other words, a crystal that has grown in only one plane or (one direction). Mono-crystalline are more expensive to manufacture and typically have a slightly higher efficiency than do conventional poly-crystalline cells.
SVM - Semi Grade Virgin Polysilicon
Semi conductor grade virgin polysilicon is distinguished by its extraordinary purity. Semiconductor grade virgin poly generally reaches levels of “11 nines” or “12 nines of purity”, thus, semiconductor grade virgin poly is 99.9999999999 percent pure or more.
SVM - Solar Grade Virgin Polysilicon
Solar grade virgin polysilicon is distinguished by its purity. Solar grade virgin polysilicon generally falls between the levels of “6 nines” to “9 nines” of purity. This means that the solar grade virgin poly is % 99.9999 pure or higher.
