The merger of skytron^® energy with Wuseltronik, a 1977 spin-off of Berlin Technical University, has evolved into three decades of unique expertise in the use of solar energy. It`s not without reason that we pride ourselves in being "pioneers of energy".

Pioneering spirit, continuity and long-standing experience, all combined with our vision for trendsetting power plant technology – this was and is our motivating force and has driven the development of our integrated monitoring and control system for photovoltaic power plants.

2012We celebrate 35 years of our pioneering spirit with more than 3,3 GWp of installed capacity

2011 AEG PS acquires the remaining shares in skytron energy, with skytron energy staying an independent business unit. skytron energy thus profits from AEG PS` global footprint. More than 2 GWp of installed capacity rely on skytron energy.

2010 skytron energy GmbH enters into partnership with AEG Power Solutions, enabling the expansion of our range of services offered to provide service, maintenance and components for photovoltaic power plants across the world

2009 About 600 MWp of solar power generation installed worldwide is reliant on skytron’s monitoring solutions and control technology

2008 skytron receives the Intersolar Award for StringGuard^® string current monitoring system and for the PVGuard^® supervision platform

2007 Market launch of PV plant and grid stability control system skycontrol

2006 Market launch of high-precision string current monitoring system StringGuard^®

2005 Relocation to the Science and Technology Park in Berlin-Adlershof
