Established in 2006 by the current management team, SOLFEX energy systems is one of the original & largest specialist distributors in the UK of high quality renewable energy systems, specifically focusing on solar thermal and photovoltaic power products, Air Source Heat Pumps & Underfloor heating systems. The company origins are founded on supplying the solar thermal sector with its exclusive ‘own branded’ solar thermal equipment supplied by Europe’s leading manufacturers. In 2009, the company broadened its renewables offering with the setup of a sales division focussed on the supply of photovoltaic equipment. The decision to set up a new photovoltaic division prior to the introduction of the Feed in Tariff (“FIT”) in 2010 proved to be a wise move; in 2010 SOLFEX energy systems relocated to a new larger distribution facility to accommodate increased stock holding and the considerable sales growth being achieved.
