Ethanol - Biofuel

Is an alcohol based fuel made by fermenting sugars derived from renewable agricultural crops. Is added to gasoline as an oxygenate to improve performance and reduce carbon emissions. Over 40% of all gasoline used in the U.S is blended with ethanol. Major automobile manufacturers are producing flex fuel vehicles which can run on E-85 (85% ethanol). Ethanol is the biofuel with the largest current production in the world.

Biodiesel - Renewable Fuel

Is a renewable fuel produced entirely from animal fats or vegetable oils. Can be used full strength or blended with petroleum based diesel fuels. Burns cleaner thereby reducing carbon emissions.

CO2 Carbon Dioxide

A byproduct of Ethanol production is CO2. Capturing the CO2 allows SRF incremental revenue opportunities by marketing to soft drink manufacturers.
