Tabor Group was established in 1984 in Roanoke, VA. Tabor Group (TGI) markets strictly to equipment distributors. Forrest Tabor, TGI President, began marketing Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL’s) in the mid 1980’s to the poultry industry. In the early 1990’s TGI expanded lighting sales into Swine. TGI’s objective has always been to supply high quality, cost effective, lighting solutions to the agricultural distributor. Today, we sell around the world. We have many close affiliations with many agricultural colleges, extension agents and field research specialists. We work with many companies to maintain ongoing field testing to insure the products we represent perform at the highest levels. TGI has also developed specialized software to help with accurate lighting layouts for retrofitting and new construction farms.
