Process Burner Theory (PB155) Online Course
Process Burner Theory is an online course designed to provide some basic fundamentals of combustion, fluid flow, and heat transfer as they pertain to burners used in process heaters and furnaces. This course is designed to provide the student some of the basic information that will be required to take Process Burner Fundamentals (PB107). The course consists of approximately 16 modules which take approximately 15 minutes each to complete via the Internet.
Industrial and Power Boiler Burners (BB115) Training Courses
Students will learn the theory behind the design, application, and safe operation of gas and oil fired burner equipment designed for large boiler applications. Students are invited to bring specific operating problems for one-on-one discussion with an Institute instructor or for discussion with a group of peers who have experienced similar situations at their facilities.
Onsite/Customer Courses
We’ll bring the classroom to you! While we’d like everyone who comes in regular contact with John Zink Hamworthy Combustion equipment to experience the John Zink InstituteSM at our Headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, we do not limit sharing our knowledge and expertise to those who can make the trip. At your request, we can bring a customized course to your facility. The John Zink Institute instructors will focus the curriculum on your actual operating conditions – providing focused study for practical implementation of our improvement suggestions. Any course can be taught as an on-site course.Process Burner Operator Training (PB171) Course
Students will learn safe process burner operation. This course includes 2 days in the classroom learning the basics of process burners and 1 day in John Zink Hamworthy Combustion’s world class test facility with hands-on burner operation in a process heater. Students will also get to troubleshoot typical problems and learn routine burner maintenance.
