Authorized Nuclear Inservice Inspector Course (I) Training

The Authorized Nuclear Inservice Inspector Course (I) is a five-day course covering specific areas of nuclear inservice inspection in addition to jurisdictional and Nuclear Regulatory Commission requirements. Also addressing the National Board Inspection Code, this course is essential for keeping an authorized nuclear inservice inspector abreast of acceptance standards, nondestructive examination procedures, health physics, quality assurance, welding, and reporting requirements of ASME Boiler and Pressure Code Section.

Authorized Nuclear Inspector Course (N) Training

The Authorized Nuclear Inspector Course (N) is a five-day course that presents ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III, Div. 1, Rules for Construction of Nuclear Facility Components requirements for classification of components and design of nuclear power plant items. The course also presents welding, nondestructive examination, and materials requirements for ASME Section III, Div. 1. This course will allow those passing the final exam to receive a Nuclear "N" Endorsement, provided all other requirements of RCI-1, NB-263, Rules for Commissioned Inspectors, are also met.

Authorized Nuclear Inspector Supervisor Course (NS) Training

The Authorized Nuclear Inspector Supervisor Course (NS) is a five-day course for individuals with the National Board "N" endorsement wishing to qualify as a supervisor. The course introduces the duties of a technical supervisor; the principles, techniques and tools used in monitoring inspection activities and auditing quality systems; and evaluating tests and examinations. The course also introduces the student to radiation health physics requirements. This course will allow those passing the final exam to receive a Nuclear Supervisor "NS" Endorsement, provided all other requirements of RCI-1, NB-263, Rules for Commissioned Inspectors, are also met.

Boiler and Pressure Vessel Repair Seminar (RO) Training

The Boiler and Pressure Vessel Repair Seminar (RO) is designed to take organizations preparing to perform repairs and/or alterations in accordance with the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) through the process from start to finish. Day one takes students through the National Board accreditation process in its entirety, including an overview of the NBIC. Detailed information on accreditation focuses on quality control programs, QC manuals, and forms and applications.
