Established in 1989, Vergnet has over 25 years’ experience of engineering excellence. Headquartered in Orleans, France, we have 166 employees in 10 offices across the globe, operating in over 40 countries.

To date, we have installed over 900 wind turbines, completed over 45 MWc solar projects and developed a range of unique hybrid energy solutions including the first-of-its-kind Hybrid Wizard™.

Our renewable energy solutions have enabled the delivery of essential services to developing countries, such as Ethiopia, where Vergnet delivers electricity to over 3 million people through Ashegoda Wind Farm, the biggest wind farm in sub-Saharan Africa with 120 MW installed.

The World Wind Energy Association (WWEA) presented Vergnet with the prestigious World Wind Energy Award 2013, an accolade awarded annually to individuals and organisations that have contributed extraordinarily to worldwide wind energy utilisation.
