Sometimes, circumstances make it evident to have a radar in an explosion area (EX zone) onboard an oil or gas asset. Vissim Radar Dome with either magnetron or solid state X‐band radar system with 8 foot antenna, may be used for all kinds of surveillance applications demanding an explosion protected enclosure or just protection from for harsh weather conditions (wind, mist, rain, snow, hail, sand, salt spray, wide temperature fluctuations).
