Vissim - Radar Dome
Sometimes, circumstances make it evident to have a radar in an explosion area (EX zone) onboard an oil or gas asset. Vissim Radar Dome with either magnetron or solid state Xâ€band radar system with 8 foot antenna, may be used for all kinds of surveillance applications demanding an explosion protected enclosure or just protection from for harsh weather conditions (wind, mist, rain, snow, hail, sand, salt spray, wide temperature fluctuations).
Vissim radar dome has one of the lowest weights and dome volumes available, which makes it one of the most efficient solutions in the market. The product includes a purging and overpressure control system (EExP) to ensure an EX‐safe environment inside the Dome, EX‐safe power outlet for service‐light, as well as Ex(d) electrical distribution cabinet.
