In2014 the event will be held in the Haus der Wirtschaft, one of the most prominent venuesin town. As in the previous events we expect 400 researchers and practicioners from allover the world to attend the exhibition and conference. Progress in Biogas is the largestevent of this kind in Germany. One of its strenghts is the close and intense contact bet­ween exhibitors and attendees. Take the opportunity to present your company to a verydedicated and interested crowd that is keen on promoting biogas in their home countries.We are looking forward to welcome you as exhibitor at Progress in Biogas III. General terms and conditions _Size of stand space, equipment, stand serviceThe available space and the size of the exhibition stands are limited and depend on thenumber of exhibitors. The exhibitors have to bring their own necessary equipment e.g.displays and movable walls, electric cables, table etc. Please note that no fixed wallstand systems are possible.The registered stand representatives are entitled to the same benefits as the otherconference participants. The conditions for participants and the general terms andconditions printed in the conference program are valid for the exhibitors and the servicesassociated with the exhibition stands. _PricesPer each beginning square meter an exhibition fee of 120 Euro is charged. Additionallyfor each stand representative the conference fee of 390 Euro accrue. At least onequalified person has to be registered for the stand service.For companies, which cannot participate in the exhibition, we offer a company banner orposter space for a price of 230 Euro per each beginning meter.The order is legally binding. All prices are exculsive of VAT of 19%. The participation feeand the exhibition fee have to be paid without discount immediately after receiving theinvoice. Specific terms and conditions With the order the exhibitor additionally accepts the following contract conditions. Thepurchaser has to make sure that the stand personel keeps to these clauses andinstructions. _PaymentIf the exhibitor doesn't fulfil his obligations of payment the conference office reserves theright after a reasonable period has passed, to refuse the contract, close the stand, ifnecessary make the stand space available for own purposes and make claim forcompensation. _Cancellation and non­attendanceIf the contract is cancelled until 11 August 2014 a service charge of 250 Euro plus VATwill be charged. Starting 12 August 2014 the total fee for the exhibition stand and theparticipation fee for the registered personel have to be paid. If the stand isn't taken by 4 p.m. on 9 September 2014, we are obliged, regarding the general view, to take over theexhibition area for own purposes. The exhibition fee has to be paid for the additionalexpenses in any case. _Construction and dismantling of the standsThe exhibitors have to set up and dismantle their stands themselves or contract some­one to do it. It has to be done in compliance with the physical construction and the fireprotection law. Light boxes, junction boxes, cable fittings for telephone extension and allfurther connections boxes as well as entrance and exit areas in front of the lecture roomsmust remain accessible.The mounting of the stands is possible from 12 a.m. on Tuesday 9 September 2014 andhas to be completed by 6 p.m. on the same day. Packing material has to be removed bythat time. There is no possibility to store any material for the time of the conference.Vehicles have to be removed immediately after loading or unloading from the loadingarea.The way the stand is presented is up to the exhibitor as long as it complies with the termsand conditions of the contract. The exhibition stand has to fit in with the overall exhibitionoutlay. The stand has to be occupied at all times by a specialized personel for the time ofthe conference.The dismantling of the stand starts at 5 p.m. on 11 September 2014 and has to becompleted before 8 p.m.. Before that official time no exibition items may be taken awayfrom the stand nor may dismantling of the stand begin. In case of breach of contract theconference office is entitled to charge a contract penalty of 25 % of the net stand fee. Theexhibition area has to be left clean. Sticky tapes, any presentation materials and allwaste must be removed after the end of the event. Extra occuring cleaning or wastedisposal costs will be charged to the exhibitor. _LiabilityThe exhibitors are liable for any damage, which occurs during the setup and dismantlingof the stands and during the exhibition at the Haus der Wirtschaft.The organiser refuses any liability for damage or loss occurring to the exhibitors property. _Cancellation of the eventIn case the International Conference Progress in Biogas III has to be cancelled ordelayed for any unpredictable reason or to few participants, the already paid participantfee and the exhibition fee will be refunded. No further claims are possible. Changes toconference program and a different program execution are reserved. _Validation and jurisdictionIn case of ineffectiveness of single clauses doesn't effect the validity of the wholecontract.
