The FA400 series fully adjustable split hydro turbine seal is designed for small to medium hydro applications, effectively sealing turbine shafts to prevent water leakage and ensure smooth operation. The seal is compatible with turbine pressures up to 15 m/s and supports a range of shaft sizes from 250 mm to 600 mm with RPM specifications of 980 for 250 mm, 615 for 400 mm and 500 mm, and 430 for 600 mm. Recommended barrier pressure falls between 0.2 to 0.34 Bar with a maximum water quality requirement of 50 microns. The seal accommodates radial shaft dislocation of +/- 0.20 mm and axial dislocation between 1 to 2 mm. Its design incorporates compression springs, pre-assembled in non-split options to close the faces, and wear indicators can be added as required. Constructed from stainless steel, the housing ensures durability, while the split design utilizes a minimum of three to four drive screws for secure fitment.
