Bung Entering Immersion Heater for Steel Drums

Immersion heaters put the heat right into the liquid for the most efficient heating. Only 8"" of riser is heated, allowing liquid level to fluctuate without damaging the heater. Fits through 2"" bung opening in steel 55 gallon drums. Adjustable mounting bracket positions the heater away from the drum wall and above sludge buildup at the bottom of the drum. Pilot light indicates whether heater is cycled on or off. All heaters are single-phase and have NEMA 1 control housings. No cord or plug is included - consult your local electric code for the proper wiring techniques for the environment in which the heater will be used.
