Soltex - Model CAP24 - Capacitor Insulating Fluid
Soltex capacitor insulating fluids offer excellent physical and chemical dielectric capacity for use in capacitors. They provide high resistance to oxidation and corrosion and offer an extensive temperature range for great protection in service.
Soltex offers alkylate/polybutene based insulating cable oils that are compatible with materials of construction and provide optimum high oxidative/thermal stability during manufacture and protection in service. These dielectric fluids can be referred to as transformer fluid, transformer oil, or transformer liquid.
In addition, Soltex represents Ergon HyVolt transformer oil. HyVolt I meets all ASTM D3487 requirements for Type I transformer fluid and HyVolt II meets all D3487 Type II requirements. Ergon also produces specialty transformer oil such as HyVolt II C50B to meet Canadian specs and HyVolt II NG (negative gassing). Ergon is the world’s largest manufacturer of naphthenic oils.
