CECO Peerless - Nuclear Moisture Separator Reheater (MSR) Vessels
Nuclear Moisture Separator Reheater Vessels (MSR) are installed between the high pressure and the low pressure steam turbines at a nuclear power plant. This technology is utilized to remove water condensed from the process steam to maximize thermal efficiency of the low pressure turbine and minimizes erosion/corrosion of steam loop piping.
Our Peerless brand high-capacity vane system is designed to economically extend the life and increase the power output through new MSRs or by retrofitting older MSRs.
We apply our decades of experience to optimize efficiency and performance, establishing environmental standards and ensuring that your solution fits your needs. In addition, the complete change-out of the MSR vane system can be achieved in a single plant outage with no need for pressure boundary work or vessel recertification.
- Low Total Cost of Ownership
- High quality assurance
- Optimal performance and durability by retrofitting older MSRs, and increasing system life
- Meets requirements of USNRC 10CFR50, Appendix B
- Retrofit capabilities
- Complete change-out achieved without pressure boundary work or vessel recertification
