CELEM - Model C - CAP 01 -Basic Capacitor
C-Cap 01 is a standardized capacitor element, featuring a power capacity of 900kVAr and an adjustable capacitance range from 0.36 to 9.5µF. It's a popular choice for systems utilizing multiple capacitors due to its consistent performance and reliability. The product's coaxial structure offers several technical advantages. Firstly, it eliminates external magnetic fields around the capacitor, thereby reducing induction heating losses. Secondly, the design prevents crosstalk and magnetic interference between adjacent components, ensuring stable performance across the system. Additionally, the coaxial architecture promotes a homogeneous current distribution, which eliminates hotspots and enhances the longevity and efficiency of the capacitor compared to conventional designs. All C-Cap models share identical mounting holes and connection configurations, making them easily interchangeable. Custom designs can also be developed upon request. The busbar design is simplified to optimize effectiveness, aligning well with modern efficiency requirements.
The Coaxial structure of the C-CAP contributes many advantages to among which are:
1. It prevents the magnetic field outside of the capacitor and therefore the induction heating losses are eliminated.
2. Lack of external field prevents the crosstalk with other capacitors and prevent the impact of magnetic field between adjacent components.
3. The coaxial structure creates a homogenous current repartition which prevents hotspots that limit performance of other types of capacitors.
The magnetic field from the busbar is confined between the busbars and the capacitors are mounted outside of the magnetic field. This is in contrast with other capacitor technologies. The bus bar is reduced to its simplest and most effective design.
All C-CAPs are interchangeable, having the same mounting holes and same connections. Custom designs are available upon request.
