The CCWHX is typically a one pass design with service water flowing through the shellside and circulating water flowing through the tubeside. Large flow rates of service water, relatively low allowable shellside and tubeside pressure drop, configuration constraints and dimensional restrictions necessitate an innovative and optimized heat exchanger design.

Holtec’s CCWHX are designed to eliminate flow induced vibration, minimize shellside and tubeside the risk of pressure drop, fit in the allocated space and render expected performance at all operating scenarios.

Holtec designs our component cooling water heat exchangers using state-of-the-art technology at the Corporate Technology Center in Marlton, NJ and fabricates using the latest manufacturing techniques at Holtec Manufacturing Division (HMD) located in Turtle Creek, PA.
