The condenser is less known but has crucial impact on the effectiveness and efficiency of your refrigeration system. The condenser is the component which enables the heat to be taken out of the cold store, freezer store or air conditioned space to be exhausted to the outside. Reducing the condensation temperature by sizing the condenser rightly can save you money through reducing energy usage. A reduction of energy of 10-15% is realistic in the right project. Nothing is for free though: right sizing here usually means selecting a bigger condenser thus higher initial cost. So we’d better make sure that there is good reason for using a larger condenser for your application. It would be even better if we can do what we have done for many customers: reuse the waste heat from the refrigeration system into floor heating, process heat or heating your office.
