Adaptronic - Model NT 800-2 -Distributed HV Wiring Tester System
The NT 800-2 wiring tester with up to 131,072 test points and a maximum test voltage of 6000 VDC/5000 VAC is specially developed for testing rail vehicles. The NT 800-2’s distributed test system consists of a base unit with CPU, measurement technology as well as HV generators and TPUs (test point units). The remote-controlled TPUs can be arranged centrally or decentrally, for example, in a satellite-like manner around the test item. This optimizes the test process and reduces throughput and track occupancy time.The test device is specially designed for testing locomotives, wagon units, and rail vehicle components such as cable ducts, control cabinets, mounting plates, driver’s desks, and much more. The optional test point expansion to up to 131,072 test points, the modular hardware and software, and the variety of specific test point interfaces make the NT 800-2 a versatile solution in rail vehicle quality assurance.
