Duplex Fasteners
Viha Steel & Forging is one of the Duplex Fasteners Manufacturers and we produce the duplex fasteners in different grades and categories. There are three kinds of duplex as standard, super and lean duplex. The Duplex 2205 Fasteners are made of the standard duplex material. The material is made up of carbon, manganese, silicon, phosphorus, 21% chromium, 2.5% molybdenum, 4.5% nickel and nitrogen in the composition. The Duplex Stainless Steel Fasteners are both strong and corrosion resistant combining the wellness of the ferritic and austenitic features. The material also has 90ksi minimum tensile strength and 65ksi minimum yield strength. The elongation rate of the 2205 duplex stainless steel bolts is 25% and the hardness is 217HBW. They can be used under harsh conditions and high wear and tear as well. UNS S31803 Fasteners are used in the chemical processing, marine, pulp and paper, transport, storage and many other applications.
There are different types such as the hex bolt, threaded rod, screws and nuts.
The Duplex 2205 Hex Bolts are made with a hexagon shaped head which is helpful in using tools to tighten or loosen. There are bolts with different types of heads which are intended for use with different tool types. The duplex 2205 studs are mostly used in engine parts and tightly placed components to reduce the space taken by the fasteners. Sometimes a simple rod with threads would do the job. The duplex 2205 threaded rod can come with different types of threads such as one end thread or both end thread types.
