Our electricity-to-electricity energy storage modules enable natural gas power plants to be seamlessly transformed into renewable energy storage facilities by replacing the existing combustor in gas turbine engines. These modules range from MWh scale for micro gas turbines utilized in smart-grid applications to GWh scale for large natural gas combined cycle power plants. Specifically, micro gas turbines offer capacities of over 100 kWe and more than 1 MWhth, while gas turbines can handle over 100 MWe and more than 1 GWhth. Additionally, our electricity-to-heat energy storage modules deliver high-grade, carbon-free industrial heat, transitioning industries from natural gas to renewable electricity. These modules cater to a variety of industrial heat applications such as drying ovens, steam boilers, metallurgical foundry furnaces, cement calciners, and steam crackers. The scales vary from MWh to hundreds of GWh. For instance, drying ovens exceed 100 kWth and 1 MWhth, while steam crackers can surpass 10 GWth and 100 GWhth.
