Akdolit - Model Hydrolit-CA -Extracted From Natural Carbonate Resources (Maerl)
Akdolit HYDROLIT-CA is a highly reactive, carbonatic filter material with a rounded grain form and a porous structure. It is used for the filtrative neutralisation of water to meet the requirements of the Drinking Water Ordinance. In this process a corrosion-preventing increase of the concentration of the calcium and hydrogen carbonate ions is achieved.
Due to the high reactivity, the performance of units operating above capacity and filled with consolidated carbonate can be increased without any expansion.
It is from a marine origin (maerl) and is used in drinking water treatment, for remineralisation and pH correction.
Akdolit HYDROLIT-CA meets the requirements of EN 1018 type 1, the Drinking Water Ordinance and DIN 2000 (Germany).
