UNLYTIC - Model LH3 Series -Film Capacitor for Next Generation Inverter Applications
The UNLYTIC LH3 series film capacitor employs Lo-Henry™ technology to minimize Equivalent Series Inductance (ESL). This advanced capacitor features a compact terminal layout, reducing overall bus bar dimensions, which is crucial for keeping system costs low. Encapsulated in a specially formulated potting compound, it achieves enhanced thermal performance. The capacitor's housing is constructed from high strength thermoplastic, making it resilient to high shock and vibration environments. It boasts a wide operating temperature range from -55°C to +105°C, and can endure a DC potential of 1.3 times its rated voltage for one minute without damage. The intrinsic dissipation factor is less than 2.1 x 10-4 at frequencies up to 1 MHz. These specifications make the LH3 series suitable for demanding applications in inverter systems.
Next generation inverter application
The UNLYTIC LH3 series film capacitor has been designed utilizing Lo-Henry™ technology. It is a coaxial film technology that produces very low inductance (ESL). With an effort to keep overall system costs down, the LH3 series was designed with a compact terminal layout. It will allow designers to reduce the overall buss bar dimensions.
The capacitor is encapsulated in a specially formulated potting compound that will enhance the overall thermal capabilities of the capacitor. The LH3 series is housed in a high strength thermoplastic designed to withstand high shock and vibration environments.
