The new, award-winning GREEN ELECTRIC MAT by Hemstedt is a very energy-efficient heating mat that can be used as both underfloor heating and wall heating. The advantage of the GREEN ELECTRIC MAT is it`s designed with two heating circuits that are very energy-efficient and can be controlled separately. That way, for example, the two circuits can be used to heat the house quickly, then one can be switched off while the other one keeps the temperature steady. The output is ideally adjusted to the heat requirements of modern houses.

Wall heating in a low-energy house

The use of a wall heating system is especially sensible in a low-energy house. Most modern houses are designed to be very dense and have not a lot of air exchange with the outside. That can lead quick to damp walls or the formation of mould, for example in bathrooms. Frequent airing can provide some relief, but would be counter-productive to energy-efficiency. It is a lot easier to prevent dampness with a wall heating system.
