Heat Exchanger
Complete range of heat exchangers, designed for fresh water, oil or diesel oil cooling by means of fresh water water or sea water, as most common fluids. The hot fluid flows on the pipe outside, while the cold fluid flows on the pipes inside.
Design
The complete range includes two main designs, differenced depending on size and application.
CHO Series: Tube bundle and body in one complete assembly. On this design the two fluid circuits are not sealed by elastic joints.
A Series: Strippable tube bundle, with fixed and floating header for heat expansions.
Installation/ Application:
- Horizontal or vertical mountings are possible.
- Fresh water cooling in marine engines.
- Oil cooling in marine engines, gearboxes, hydraliic sets, etc.
- Diesel oil cooling
- Machinery hydraulic circuits
- Industrial process water cooling
Selection:
For proper cooler selection, it is necessary to have the following data:
For fresh water coolers :
- Heat transfer ( kcal/h, kw, HP )
- Water flow
- Water inlet temperature
- Cooling water temperature
For oil cooling:
The same data as in water coolers but the oil viscosity at the temperature is required, to know the head loss.
