Heat Exchangers

Heat exchangers are pressure equipment used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. They typically consist of the following components: a. Tubes or Tubesheets: Fluid flows through tubes, while another fluid flows over the tubesheets to exchange heat. b. Shell: The outer casing that contains the tubes and fluid. c. Baffles: Internal components that direct the flow of fluid and enhance heat transfer. d. Inlet and Outlet Connections: For the entry and exit of the heat exchange fluids.
