Herz - Heat Hub

Our Heat Hub has been specially developed to meet the increasing requirement for sustainable heating on a larger scale. The Heat Hub can heat substantial properties such as care homes, offices, country estates, poultry farms and serve as the energy generation hub in district heat schemes.

As a provider to demanding heat users Rural Energy have enhanced their packaged solution to meet larger fuel requirements.

• Consisting of a spring arm auger and a direct agitator feeding the boiler, an octagonal fuel store has a 36m3 to 110m3 fuel store volume.
• The cylindrical silo feeds through gravity to the direct agitator with an effective fuel store volume of 11m3 to 50m3.
• The fuel store can be customised to reflect the eventual location of the Heat Pod. For sites that prove to be difficult to access for a fuel delivery vehicle, the fuel store can be optimised for chips to be air-blown to the fuel store.

Finishes

Rural Energy can provide optional timber-clad finishes, ‘Racing Green’ or ‘Goosewing Grey’ plastisol finishes, or a variety of RAL colours depending on the your specifications.

The external silos for the Heat Hub are also available in a range of powder coated finishes. We currently offer green and grey colours in light or dark shades or a galvanised steel finish (as seen in the main image here).
