The disassembly equipment is used to mechanically open the battery shell and separate the internal components. Then, the crusher is used to crush the battery materials to a suitable particle size, and then the hammer crusher is used to crush the materials to a fine size, so that the metal can be fully separated from other components.
Magnetic separation equipment can remove iron-containing impurities and initially separate non-magnetic metals such as copper and nickel by using magnetic differences. Gravity sorting equipment such as shaking tables and jigs can separate copper and nickel from low-density plastics and graphite due to their high density based on different densities.
Electrostatic sorting equipment can also be used to make use of the difference in the conductive properties of the materials to make copper and nickel show different motion trajectories in the electric field for further purification.
