Entec - Model T-15 -High-Efficiency Cross-Flow Turbines
The T15 crossflow turbine is the result of more than 30years experience in rural electrification projects in Nepal, Indonesia and other countries. About 600 T15 turbines are in operation world wide. T15 turbine design is offered by PT entec as a licence for diameter 300mm and 500mm covering most MHP potentials up to 250kW (300kW at head above 40m).
The latest research in co-operation with the University of Stuttgart resulted in a further increase in efficiency and drastically improved part load characteristic of our latest turbine generation.
Key Benefits of the Entec Crossflow Turbine T-15:
- High part-load efficiency
- Up to 80% peak efficiency
- Optimised guide vane for minimal operating forces
entec has a long tradition with the development of turbines. It all started in 1976 with the first prototype of the T-1. By now the modifications and optimization of the design have led to the T-15 .
PT. entec Indonesia designed a propeller turbine to be used for low head sites. Turbines of this type were manufactured in Indonesia and are installed for example in MHP Buchholz (CH) and Wangan Aji (ID) . It is another example of entec`s successful technology transfer.
