Triad MagneticsModel CST206/CST306 Series - High Frequency Current Sense Transformers

SHARE
The CST206/CST306 Series is a high frequency current sense transformer designed for applications requiring accurate current measurement in circuits operating within the 20 to 200 kHz range. These transformers feature an ET VµSEC REF of 2000, turns count of 100, and a primary RMS current rating of 110.0 A. The minimum inductance of these models is 14.0 mH, with a maximum DCR of 0.580 Ohm. The overall turn ratio is set at 100. Constructed with UL-rated material to sustain temperatures up to 130 ºC, the CST206 models are engineered to handle temperature rises of approximately 40 ºC under rated primary current conditions. These transformers require derating of the ET product by specific percentages when operating at varying frequencies and unidirectional operations. With flexible design, these models include options for 3-pin or center-tapped configurations.
