ZMSHigh Voltage - 35KV-220KV Bare Conductor Overhead Power Line-ACSR

SHARE

ACSR is mainly used for high voltage or extra high voltage overhead transmission. Because the main advantage of these conductors is their high tensile strength, they can be used for longer spans with fewer supports, saving installation and maintenance costs. Because of the larger diameter of ACSR conductors, higher transmission and distribution power can be obtained, thus providing a great advantage in high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage overhead lines.

Voltage: 35kv-220kv

Conductor: one or more layers of aluminum wire hard-drawn 1350-H16

On galvanized steel wire cores, the number of conductor cores can be single-wire or stranded, depending on the size of the specific application requirements.

ACSR can be designed by combining the quantity of aluminum and galvanized steel wire according to the electrical and mechanical strength requirements of transmission and distribution cables.

CONDUCTOR PARAMETERS

ACSR conductors consist of a solid or stranded steel core surrounded by aluminum-stranded wires.

ACSR conductors can be made from a variety of steels with carbon content ranging from 0.5% to 0.85%.

Higher-strength ACSR conductors are better for crossing rivers, overhead ground lines, or installations over very long spans.
