
Wattius - Model wBMS-HX Series - High-Voltage Battery Management System (BMS)
The Wattius wBMS-HX is a robust battery management system (BMS) tailored for high-voltage, large-scale battery energy storage solutions, supporting up to 1,500 V applications. It features reinforced isolation aligned with IEC60664 standards and complies directly with IEC62619. The system, pre-certified for Functional Safety, boasts a Compliance Report for ISO13849-1 Performance Level D by an accredited testing entity. The wBMS-HX integrates seamlessly with local and cloud infrastructures via an Ethernet Modbus TCP interface and encrypted MQTT broker connectivity, supporting advanced remote management through the wBMS-Toolkit. It handles up to 16 BMUs in parallel and autonomously manages multi-string connections without additional hardware. The system provides extensive connectivity options, including dual-range hall and CAN bus current sensors, and is compatible with both wBMS-MX BMU and its Pro variant. Its comprehensive safety protocols and Ethernet-based control make it versatile and reliable for contemporary battery storage applications.

The wBMS-HX features direct compliance with IEC62619 and is pre-certified for Functional Safety, with a Compliance Report for ISO13849:1 Performance Level D issued by a certified third-party testing entity.
This BMS solution features an Ethernet interface with support for Modbus TCP for local device control (i.e. PLC, EMS, inverter). It also supports encrypted cloud connectivity, with integration with MQTT brokers and complete compatibility of the wBMS-Toolkit over internet.
Each BMU supports up to 48 CMUs. Multiple BMUs can be connected in parallel without additional hardware. The system automatically handles smart string connection / disconnection and provides a single control interface with EMS / Inverter.
The wBMS-HX family is available with two CMU options. The wBMS-HX CMU12 and the wBMS-HX CMU16. And these are also compatible with wBMS-MX BMU and wBMS-MX BMU Pro.
