Nortroll LineTroll - Model 110Tµr - Line Mounted Indicator for Detection
The LineTroll 110Tμr is a sophisticated line-mounted fault passage indicator designed specifically for overhead transmission networks operating within the 50-132kV range. This device is essential for detecting both phase-to-ground (PtG) and phase-to-phase (PtP) faults, ensuring reliable fault location identification. It is powered by replaceable long-life lithium batteries, offering a considerable life expectancy of 10-15 years, minimizing maintenance requirements. The LineTroll 110Tμr offers 360-degree visibility for effective fault indication, discerning between transient and permanent faults through distinct LED signals: super-intensive red LED for permanent faults, green LED for transient faults, and yellow LED for low battery alerts. With programmable settings accessible via dipswitches, it allows for threshold levels of 500 or 1000A and features different reset options, including manual, timer-based, and automatic reset by the return of voltage or current.
