UNLYTIC - Model LH3 Series -Low-Inductance Film Capacitors
The LH3 series film capacitor from Electronic Concepts incorporates Lo-Henry™ technology, designed specifically for next-generation inverter applications. Utilizing a coaxial film configuration, this capacitor boasts extremely low inductance (ESL), significantly reducing system costs by allowing for a more compact terminal layout and minimizing buss bar dimensions. This series is encapsulated in a specially formulated potting compound to enhance thermal capabilities, and it is housed in high-strength thermoplastic, providing resilience in high-shock and vibration environments. The LH3 series conforms to rigorous quality control standards, capable of withstanding a DC potential of 1.3 times the rated voltage for one minute without damage, and maintaining a dissipation factor of less than 2.1 x 10^-4 across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C up to frequencies of 1MHz.
Next generation inverter application
The UNLYTIC ® LH3 series film capacitor has been designed utilizing Lo-Henry™ technology. It is a coaxial film technology that produces very low inductance (ESL). With an effort to keep overall system costs down, the LH3 series was designed with a compact terminal layout. It will allow designers to reduce the overall buss bar dimensions.
The capacitor is encapsulated in a specially formulated potting compound that will enhance the overall thermal capabilities of the capacitor. The LH3 series is housed in a high strength thermoplastic designed to withstand high shock and vibration environments.
