Guangteng - Mini Heat Pump for Pool
The mini heat pumps are the new models of heat pumps available in the swiming pool market. These heat pumps are installed very easily and do not require previous installation and specify a By-pass. It is a Plug & Play product that is placed on the same circuit as the pool filtration. They are economic and very effective. The mini pool heat pump is suitable for pools of 8 cubic meters to 20 cubic meters, 30 cubic meters and 40 cubic meters. It can be installed in any type of pool: wood, steel, composite, inflatable or tubular. They are also suitable for small and medium-sized pools, such as pumps for movable pools: steel pools, wooden pools, composite pools, tubular water Pools, small above-ground swimming pools, hot tubs and spas and even inflatable pools.
Installation and heat loss
Your mini pool heat pump should restrict the air flow around the heat pump. For example, dense vegetation or solid surfaces such as sheds, fences or walls can cause a decrease in efficiency and heating capacity. It is especially important that the cooled air can be properly removed from the unit. spread out.
When you are not swimming, your pool should be covered because 80% of heat loss occurs through surface evaporation. If you have an above-ground pool, it`s especially important to keep it covered, as these are often not as well insulated to prevent heat loss.
If your pool does not have a cover, a solar cover alone will be a worthwhile investment, otherwise any heat from the heat pump may be lost through surface evaporation and you will struggle to achieve the desired temperature.
What Size Heat Pump Do i Need For My Swimming Pool?
How to calculate your pool water level:
You can easily calculate the amount of water in the pool as follows:
- round pool
- To calculate the volume of a circular pool, you can use the formula
- Pool volume = 3.14 x radius x radius x depth
- Measure the diameter of the pool in meters
- Half the diameter gives the radius of the pool
- Multiply by 3.14 x radius x radius x pool depth
Example:
- A 12` (3.66 m) diameter circular above-ground pool with a depth of 0.8 m
- Diameter = 12′ x 0.305 = 3.66m
- Radius = 3.66 / 2 = 1.83m
- Volume = 3.14 x 1.83 x 1.83 x 0.8m = 8.4 m3
- rectangular pool
- Pool volume = length x width x depth
Example:
- 6m x 4m pool, 0.8 m deep = 6 x 4 x 0.8 = 19.2 m3
