Model 8 MW - Turbocrat Boiler
From Boiler Plants
The turbocratboiler is a three-pass-fire tube boiler for generation of warm water of 110 °C and 10 bar, of hot water until 160 °C and 10 bar, of low pressure steam until 1 bar and high pressure steam until 10 bar. Boiler output is 1,000 kW until 8,000 kW. The turbocratboiler as three-pass-boiler is designed with a big fire tube, this is the combustion chamber. This ensures an optimum burn-up rate, because of the flue gases residing time and good mixing. The furnaces are installed below the boiler, whereby the flue gases flow below into the boiler fire tube. It is possible to design the turbocratboiler with a compressed air cleaning plant and a flue gas temperature increasing device for the control of the boiler waste gas temperature. Most commonly is this boiler system used as industry boiler for heat generation in the middle output range. An ideal design of the turbocratboiler is one with nozzle grate furnace for burning pellets.
