Model ActiveFlow -Solar Hot Water
ActiveFlow is a solar hot water system which uses a small pump to circulate fluid between the solar collectors and the storage tank. The pump is activated using a solar controller which closely monitors the temperature of the system. When the controller detects there is energy in the collectors to harness, it switches on the high efficiency pump to collect this heat and store it in the hot water storage tank. The process continues over the course of the day adding more and more heat to the insulated storage tank.
