MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:
- Yield Stress. 465 n/mm2 Min (as much as 19mm LRS) 0.2% Proof Stress.
- Elongation. Sixteen% Min. (12% if bloodless drawn)
- Impact KCV. 28 Joules Min. (as much as 19mm LRS.
FORGING:
Preheat the steel carefully, then raise temperature to 1050 degree centigrade for forging.Do not forge below 850 degree centigrade after forging cool slowly preferably in a furnace.
